I bought this Amaryllis when it went on clearance
after Christmas. The bloom is on a short steam
near the bulb which as far as I can tell is unusual.

A breath of fresh air! This was the first tree in bloom I’ve seen this spring.

This little flower is blooming quite close to the ground, I had to
get on the ground to see the flowers face.

Growing outside of The Indoor Sun Shoppe in Fremont, WA
are these pitcher plants. They look as though they are singing
with their mouths open in chorus together.

The photos have been missing for a couple of days and it's because I had to go on a field trip to find something new. While it is enjoyable to see flowers and sun from last summer, it's also nice to see what's going on now. It was a small field trip but I found some flowers blooming and that works fine for me.

Frost is one of those things that creates it’s own masterpiece.
We sometimes are lucky enough to view that masterpiece,
ok fine maybe this isn’t a masterpiece but it is rather cool!

The lovely green to the front is beautiful tuft of grass, sadly
it’s not so beautiful because it’s growing very well in my flowerbed!!!

Ahhh flowers. Always nice to see the Hellebore flowering in the
middle of winter. While this one is rather plain, I rather enjoy it.

In the fall I planted kale and it was quite pretty although
it didn’t make it through our rainy winter. Oh well!
It was pretty!

It figures that in February the flower blooming by the seaside

would be a noxious weed!

I wouldn’t normally post a picture that is so sun washed but

Can you believe it? I am in love with a weed!
It’s temporary but for now this brilliant green popping up all over the
path is pulling me in with it’s emerald eyes. 
Oh phooey,  honeymoons over – that vicious weed is already flowering ~
getting ready to spawn all over the place.

Not really sure what this is, probably a weed to look so pretty
all winter but maybe it will surprise me and be a pretty flower.
