A Garden Bed Gets Into Shape

It really is messy but that's alright, the violets are adorable
and the dandelions are amazingly sunny, I don't mind them
most of the time because I know I can pull them out at any time.

The past few days have been beautiful but this little
pollinator didn't have much company, I think aside
from him I saw a huge bumble and that was about it.

Those little violas surrounding that dandelion are really pretty together.
Do you think dandelions are a good plant or a bad plant?
Check this page out for some healthy information
regarding the dandelion.

Here is the finished bed planted with sugar snap peas, cabbage seeds
are in the center - I figure they can fill in that center space and
by the time they are getting bigger the peas should be done.
There is a trellis type thing here but I decided not
to use it for the peas instead going with twigs for support.
These are not trellising peas so no need for it.

Did you notice the mulch? It's grass clippings, I love to use
it for mulch around my plants - it feeds the garden as it breaks down
but in the meantime it keeps weeds down and helps
keep the moisture in.
