We had quite the spell of frosty and then foggy weather
and now we've moved on to sunshine.
I took a week off to heal my heart, it was hard to
say goodbye to a loved one when you know
they aren't coming back.

There had been quite a bit of rain and then some cooler
temperatures brought a bit of snow and hail but what
it brought a lot of was the most amazing frost.
The birds only come to the feeders in our yard when
the weather is cold, rainy or snowy.
We've had a fair amount of both so I've been having
to refill those feeders often.
This bird feeder is right outside my bedroom window
so when the sun comes up I can watch them being busy
and squabbling over the feeder.
