It isn't pretty but it is what it is.

In the summer I planted cabbage and they didn't do
much growing so I left them as long as I could.
The bed they are planted in is fairly new and the soil
has not been amended at all so anything that
grew there did well as far as I'm concerned.
For my first time growing cabbage in a new garden bed I'm alright
with how they turned out. Small but delicious.
As you can see there is a fair amount of slug damage and
I'm happy there weren't any cabbage moths in there.
While we've had some freezing temps and right now
we have slushy snow type stuff on the ground the
winter vegetable are doing alright.
The bed also has kale in it and another bed
has carrots and beets - I will show you those another day.
