I'm quite surprised at this primrose, usually the
yellow flowering ones winter over and the purples
die off but this year ta-da it's a purple bloomer!
From this second photo they don't really look all that impressive
but it's all about that little bit of color popping out when everything
else is gray, gray clouds, gray landscape.
