We've had some windy weather, yeah
some wind. It seems normal during fall for
the winds and rain to pick up and this
year started off with a bang!
We were closing up the hoop house one day last week
when we noticed a small rip in the plastic.
Then the winds came, the weather forecast told
us to expect gusts up to 65mph.
This side of the yard borders the street and with that comes
wind that seems to lift over the fence and swoop
down into the yard, making this an already
windy spot. The hoop house didn't
stand a chance.
After looking back over the growing season this
larger hoop house isn't necessary for me to garden,
the smaller hoop houses are plenty for me.
