As I was taking these photos I had no idea what

type of tree this is and I found out by chance

when browsing the arboretums website.

I wasn't looking for the tree's id

I was just looking around the website

so it was pure chance.

Originally I was going to ask my

blogger friend Grace because I know

she knows plants!
